Button Button Who's Got The Button?

If you've ever checked out my jewelry you would notice my love for BUTTONS! I like all shapes, colors, sizes, old and new, especially vintage, if I can afford them. These days most are made from plastic- molded in all kinds of theme. Sports one of the most popular in team colors!

Recently I have been into making collage pendants with charms, as well as, buttons. So, I started with puppies... Jesse James Dress It Up Button/Embellishments is one of my favs. I put a couple together earlier this week and Jesse James tagged me on their website! Talk about honored and excited! Recognition out of the blue is indescribably awesome! More on the way, got purring kitties waiting on me ... So, woof woof woof... For now...

All in A Days Work

After I made a couple of resin pieces I was hooked! So I thought I would get out the charms, chain and jump rings and get busy. The combinations spoke volumes to me! So here are a few I am proud to pass along.

The first piece is called "Who Do You See?" Since David's piece was so successful I thought I'd make one representative of ME! So tell me what do you see!

The next one is "Unlock My Dreams". I absolutely love locks and keys and hearts! This one emerged after some thought, but inspired by the key heart with wings.

Next is "My Wicked Heart" after a trip to the clearance isle and strip through my stash I put this one together. Doesn't hurt that I am reading a vampire novel either!

Last but not least is "Make My Heart Bloom". Just fell together from some forgotten pieces that play well together.

I've got at least 3 more started on my desk. Time to get back at it!

Off to London

Many of you know how enamored I am with David Gandy.... So I created a special piece that depicts some facets of his life and personality.  Each item represents something about him.  Needless to say, I have had a fans dream come true when, not only did David like this piece actually would like for me to send it to him!  Excited cannot describe it!

The  blue chain represents Blue Steel Appeal and the
gold vein running thru for your heart of gold...
The fob chain has a set of keys for your love of cars.
Inside the pocket watch ..
A tie for your fashion and immaculate dress code;
British flag for your love of all things British;
A red bead for Comic Relief;
A paw print for Battersea;
A sparkle for the gleam in your eyes;
and gears for your watch collection.
This is step one I used Magic Gloss....dries in the sun in less than 5 minutes and then added next layer.  Repeat

Although this piece is not expensively done it is priceless to me because someone truly liked it for what it was meant to be.    So NOW we wait for 6-10 days for it to reach London.  Fingers crossed for luck!
